Election Postponed; Controversy ensues

NYMAN, DC- After all the ballots for this past weekends election were lost, a new election was called for. It will be held with the same rules, February 25-27. One of the most interesting results of this was the District 3 race. Mike Naso was leading Senator Nym90 by a five vote margin, with 15 votes in. Naso has campaigned harder, but is viewed in some circles as a joke. Reports say the Nym strategists are going to work hard to remind voters about Mr. Naso's troubled past, and the Senator's accomplishments. This is part of a larger controversy over whether to campaign during the extra week. Some vowed not to, others said why not. It is clear, if Nym90 wins this weekend, Republicans will be head over heels in anger.

It could be projected that the Senate will lean to the center/right next term. District 1 was set to go for Colin Wixted, District 2 for MAS117, District 3 for Mike Naso, District 4 for SamSpade, and District 5 for Hughento. That would leave the Senate with four liberals, Gabu, Hughento, Al, and Siege40, and six center-righists, MAS117, Colin Wixted, Supersoulty, WMS, SamSpade, and Mike Naso. It should be noted that it would be liberals vs. moderates, and the conservatives would have little power.

In the Presidential race, Lewis Trondheim was narrowly beating out Kemperor in the final tally. Al said he had some support that did not show up. It will be interesting, but the advantage is with Trondheim.
