Hermit Inactive

Senate candidate and former Secretary of State Hermit (U-TX) has not done anything in Atlasia since November 25. This inactivity will hurt him in a tight race against Sen. Harry (D-MS) in which every vote will be neccessary to win. Harry is using that to his advantage in campaign ads. Harry is polarizing enough that there are some who will vote against him no matter what, but most of his main detractors are at the national level and not in his district.

Perhaps Amos, a late candidate, will be able to take Hermit's place as the anti-Harry Centrist candidate, but his campaign has garnered little momentum. Amos lost to Harry in the last election, although a Run-off election was neccessary to decide the winner. It is still worth noting that Harry is fighting for re-election in a Conservative district, so he must get some credit for staying alive. The latest polls show the race very tight.
