New Poll Out, Results Unfavorable to the President

A new poll is out from The National Atlasian that shows that President PBrunsel is in worse shape than a 1974 Richard Nixon. The poll showed that he has an approval rating of 21%, and a disapproval rating of 76%. Vice President Keystone Phil has an approval rating of 22%, but a disapproval rating of 78%. In an hypothetical election, the results were as follows.

With No Democratic Candidate
KEmperor (45%)
Hughento (36%)
PBrunsel (7%)

With Nym90 as the Democratic Candidate
KEmperor (45%)
Nym90 (36%)
PBrunsel (7%)
Hughento (7%)

With Peter Bell as the Democratic Candidate
KEmperor (39%)
Peter Bell (29%)
Hughento (13%)
PBrunsel (10%)

To summarize, the left is prepared to unite behind Hughento if they are forced to, but they would much prefer Nym90 or Peter Bell. An interesting point is that much of PBrunsel's supporters are morbidly opposed to Preferential Voting, and that will likely hurt Kemperor. It seems that Peter Bell may be able to steal off some of the Consitutional expert bloc from Kemperor's extensive wall.

Other results showed 69% want a Constitutional Convention and 49% favor IRV, but no other system got more than 15%.
