Hughento's Huge Task

NYMAN, DC- Current Game Moderator and former Presidential candidate Hughento has indicated that he will likely run again for the office of President. His last campaign was marred by the fact that he did not have a large enough base to get him out of the early rounds of balloting. However, had he gotten out of those rounds, he would have won, since he had a large bastion of second and third preference support.

Hughento's task will be to limit the amount of candidates from the center-left that enter the race. Losing out to Nation on the UAC Nomination killed his candidacy last time, and while there is no more UAC, if he is able to convince the Union and Freedom parties to endorse him, he would become the lone Centrist candidate, and would likely win, providing he can beat either the left or right in the first round. If he fails to become a Centrist, he must turn toward the Democrats. He would likely pick up second preferences from Centrists, so if he can pick up first preferences from liberals, he will be the next President.

In Atlasia today, there is no room for the Center-Left. He either needs to be center or left.
