Many are wondering whether the Democrats or the left in general can field a winning ticket in February. While PBrunsel has wide appeal and has not had any serious scandals so far, the Democrats have giants on their side. Senator and Former President Nym90 of Michigan has support and in the words of one Nyman insider "There is a feeling of regret that we threw him out prematurely." He has been an active Senator, and was Harry's biggest defender in the ongoing DemocraticHawk case. There is no one on the left with the stature to challenge him. While his politics are fairly liberal, they are Russ Feingold liberal, not Dennis Kucinich liberal, so he is certainly electable. Assuming Nym gets the nomination, there are several attractive Vice-Presidential choices. Senator Defarge of New York has developed a reputation as a moderate in the Senate and won high praise for changing his vote to Supersoulty in the recent Senate election. He is new to Atlasia, but any inexperience will be set off by Nym's ability to claim he has been everywhere. Another possible candidate is the Attorney General and Mideast Gubernatorial Candidate Peter Bell of Indiana. Once a high profile, he was out of politics for a few months, but has come back as an alert Attorney General. Favored to win the Governor's mansion, he could be an asset to a left-wing ticket, even if he is not a Democrat.
