Peter Bell for President?

Attorney General Peter Bell established an exploratory commmittee tonight about running for President. He has presented himself as the left's best option should Nym90 decide not to run. A social liberal and economic conservative, Secretary Bell has been responsible for the rebirth of the Progressive movement, and is an expert on Constitutional law.

He has expressed support for a new Constitutional Convention, and in private interviews with the News has expressed a desire for fiscal responsibilty that is accompanied with social rightousness, such as increasing educational spending.

Secretary Bell could unite the left, but if Nym doesn't run, Senator Siege40 and Governor Ilikeverin would pose threats to Bell's candidacy.

Harry Offically Out

JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI- Senator Harry conceded the District 4 Senate election to WMS (AF-NM) earlier today. Accepting that Democratic Hawk's vote won't be counted for him in the totals, he have in to mounting pressure and conceded.

Although a recent streak of feel-good bills may make Senator States Rights look good, he is certainly vulnerable next February if Harry runs as a moderate and paints the Senator as a Conservative. Harry may be eager to unseat the man who many say backstabbed him by endorsing Harry but voting WMS.
