Is PBrunsel in Trouble?

NYMAN, DC- For a President who has been a very popular guy, the recent days have not been easy on him. In his State of the Forum address, he called for an embargo of all Chinese products to be put in place by the new year. This was immediatly met with relucatnce by Secretary of Defense John Ford. Senator elect Supersoulty pointed out to a cheering audience that we do not want war with China. A dinger came from Senator elect Al later on, who said "Mr President, you have a rare talent for giving an apparently solid appearance to pure wind, dressing up no achievements into a strong record, saying that a divisive administration into a uniting one and claiming that risking nuclear war is in our best interests. I have been in politics for a long time and in all my years in this strange game of power, I have never seen a President make a speech quite like it.I salute you're brass necked cheek and ask you a simple question: When is you're Administration going to get anything done?" Reports say that the President had a very angry backlash at the Union leader, although it is not on tape and all that is available is a response simply calling for lower taxes. His rash measures against China brought resistance from many Senators, but the most compelling words of the day came from Supersoulty, who said "Mr. President, my image of you as a compassionate, understanding man is begining to errode away. Do you not recongnize that there are some problems when it comes to poverty that do not have the easy answers that you want to find?"

Sources inside the the capital say that even Republicans are disappointed in the level of activity the President has put forth and in his policy. The President needs to act like a moderate to win re-election, but his recent speech makes him look hawkish, and his replies make him look like a puppet of radical capitalism. The image can be fixed, but it will take work on his part.
