Defarge Not Seeking Re-election

NYMAN, DC- Senator Defarge announced that he would not seek another term. He cited that he had other priorities. He thanked everyone for their support and wished good luck to those seeking to fill his seat.

The current candidates are ColinW for the Republicans and Lawrence Watson for the Democrats. This seat leans Republican, although Defarge could have put a winning coalition together. If Former Senator Nation jumps into the ring, he will be the frontrunner. A true moderate, he is respected throughout the district. Watson has come under fire for not being active enough, so he'll need to run an active campaign.
