Ilikeverin In Trouble

BELLES FOURCHE, SOUTH DAKOTA- The Governor of the Midwest, Ilikeverin (I-MN) may not get re-elected. Earlier, he proposed a ballot iniative that would force the Democrats and Republicans to change their party names. The move has made him unpopular with Democrats. Inside sources say the party is very close to endorsing the Libertarian candidate, Dabeav, of Minnesota. Dabeav has renounced the proposal and is gaining support, including that of the President.

A survey of likely voters gives the challenger a 60-40% edge, but that is misleading, since no more than ten voters will vote in the election. However, the combination of Ilikeverin's unpopularity among Democrats, the fact that undecides vote against the incumbent in most cases, and the ever-burning question of the Governor's maturity leaves him in a perilous position.
