Vice-President Alcon?

NYMAN, DC- In a surprising move late last night, Supreme Court Chief Justice and Presidential Candidate Kemperor announced that his Vice-Presidential candidate would be Alcon, a Democrat from South Dakota. Alcon is realtively young, but has a reputation as a moderate and an enjoyable guy. He briefly left the AFDNC over Phillygate, but came back after he was pleased with the way it was handled. The move may be part of a strategy of the Justice to appeal to the Democrats. He has already had Governor MAS117 lobbying for him in Democratic Headquarters, and the pick of a Democrat will certainly tighten up that race.

However, there are signs that by reaching so far to the left, he may alienate some on the right. Senator StatesRights has said that will move Kemperor down to second preference on his ballot. Several Nyman insiders say there is a good chance the Senator may present a Conservative challenge to the Justice.

Whether Kemperor recieves the Democratic endorsement is still up in the air, but with Hughento not accepting endorsements from groups, only individuals, Kemperor may be the man. Insiders say that a particular outgoing Senator has said "If we are not good enough for him, we need to find someone else." This whole scenerio is changed if Peter Bell or Nym90 jump into the race. However, if not, it may be Person v. Politics for the Democrats.
